Customer Service Manager

The Customer Service Manager will manage the customer facing support activities for CMG's program clients. This person's leadership role will be critical to enabling CMG to continue to deliver outstanding customer service thru: real-time response levels, implementation and measurement of current and future key initiatives and development of positive improvements for the department. The Manager will be responsible for supervising all of the customer services representatives and ensuring that customers are retained, satisfied, and their needs are fulfilled.

Responsibilities for this position:

  • Work with the other members of the department to make sure that the orders are accurate and entered into the system in a timely manner
  • Work with the CSR's to perform the necessary follow-through procedures for customer orders
  • Provide administrative and sales support to internal staff
  • Oversee the delivery of friendly and knowledgeable customer communication across multiple channels including: email, voice, web and chat
  • Work with various company departments to enable proactive and effective services to customers
  • Demonstrate positive and professional leadership behavior to drive customer and employee satisfaction
  • Answer customer phone calls and handle customer inquiries, requests and/or problems that have been elevated to a higher level
  • The ability to work with a customer to resolve a problem (Strong problem solving skills)
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with the team, other departmental teams, and external suppliers and contacts
  • Ability to prioritize and handle several tasks in a proficient manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers as well as internal staff
  • Ability to handle stressful and problem situations in a calm, professional manner
  • Resolve customer requests including: expediting orders, returns, credits, exchanges, collateral needs questions and complaints
  • Epicor Training or experience would be a plus
Skills/ Attributes:
  • Candidate must be detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Candidate must demonstrate problem solving skills and have knowledge of Customer Service best practices and service metrics
  • Ability to develop and deliver weekly/monthly reporting for Sales and Management
  • Stay current with competition on best practices in retail/benchmarking competition
  • Ability to aid CSR Reps. with their overflow and provide support and follow-up
  • Ability to work with others and develop a training/support system for new hires
  • Ability to work independently and provide strong leadership, coaching and training skills (Training background a plus)
  • Proficient in Excel/Word

Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Customer Service operations experience/Contact Center Management experience required

MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE

Chamberlain Marketing Group seeks energetic, self-motivated Marketing Representative to work closely with our customers, as well as our internal sales staff, to promote/enhance the sale of our customer's branded products. Experience in a marketing capacity is preferred, demonstrating the ability to enhance sales through marketing techniques. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be well organized and prompt in meeting deadlines. Responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our customer's brand image and needs, and use that knowledge to promote existing product ideas and develop new ones.
  • Develop creative marketing plans for corporate wide initiatives, with the primary objective of increasing sales.
  • Develop distinct, creative marketing plans for our key corporate accounts, with the objective of increasing sales and enhancing the Chamberlain Marketing Group image.
  • Develop thorough understanding of existing and new promotional product ideas
  • Work with our Sales Representative and/or customers to identify merchandise needs
  • Process customer orders/requests in an accurate and timely manner
  • Source customers' product requirements with the appropriate suppliers
  • Resolve customer requests including: expediting orders, merchandise returns, credits, exchanges, general questions and complaints

SALES ASSISTANT

Chamberlain Marketing Group seeks a Sales Assistant to work closely with our Sales Department, in fulfilling the expanding needs of our corporate clients. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be well organized and prompt in meeting deadlines. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Working with our Sales Representative and/or customers to determine product needs
  • Processing customer orders in an accurate and timely manner
  • Sourcing our customers' product requirements with the appropriate suppliers
  • Establishing costs with vendors and pricing with customers
  • Perform necessary follow-through on customer orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of product
  • Resolve customer requests including: expediting orders, merchandise returns, credits, exchanges, general questions and complaints
  • Handle administrative responsibilities to effectively manage customer accounts
  • Attend client sales meetings, as necessary
  • Must have experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must have ability to handle stressful and problem situations in a calm, professional manner

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Chamberlain Marketing Group seeks an energetic, adaptable individual for a Sale Representative position, whose primary function will be the pursuit and development of new corporate clients. Candidate must be disciplined and focused, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in the Promotional Products industry or in an Advertising Agency is preferred. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Build and secure new business opportunities that are in line with Chamberlain Marketing Group's Strategic and Business Plans.
  • Cultivate business growth opportunities within existing customer base.
  • Work closely with internal staff to process orders in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Attend all sales meetings and report status of business development.
  • Must have ability to handle stressful and problem situations in a calm, professional manner
